SBPS Application Form

    General Guidelines
   Application

  1. Visit our application portal at http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/application, locate and click Start Application at the bottom left corner of the page to start your application.
  2. Fill and submit the "Application Form".
  3. A "Payment Transaction Slip" is generated for you. On it, you will find your unique Transaction ID for making payments at the Bank, as well as your Application Form Number.
  4. Print a copy of your Payment Transaction Slip, and proceed to any of the designated banks, for Payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦5,000 (Five thousand Naira only, bank charges not inclusive). Note that you are required to present your Transaction ID at the bank.
  5. Email your Remita Receipt and Application form transaction ID to  sobaps@fudutsinma.edu.ng
  6. Returns to the Portal (http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/application) after forty eight (48) hours and enter your Application Form Number and email address to continue your application.
  1. Return to the Portal (http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/application) after payment, enter your Application Form Number and email address to continue your application.
  2. Complete and submit the full application form with accurate data.

Admission Processing
Successful candidates are expected to read carefully and follow the following guidelines to complete their acceptance and registration.
 Undertaking Against Cultism
All admitted candidates must download the Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01) from the University Portal http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission  Both the Parent/Guardian and the candidate must sign a copy of the form and tender it at registration point in the University
  (Note that you will not be registered without the signed form).

 Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission
All newly admitted candidates are required to pay a mandatory acceptance charge of N5, 000 only and print Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission.
   List of Items to Bring for Clearance and Verification
    Come along with the following Items:

  1. Signed copy of Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission from the Portal
  2. Printed copy of Letter of Provisional Admission from the Portal
  3. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate
  4. Original and photocopy of O’ Level certificates/statement of results
  5. Two copies of passport photograph
  6. Letter of Reference from a person of reputable standing in the society vouching for your good behaviour

   Authentication of NECO/WAEC /NABTEB Results for Newly Admitted Candidates
   All newly admitted candidates should submit a copy of NECO, WAEC or NABTEB statement of results at
   the registration point in the SOGAPS for authentication/verification of all qualifications presented for admission.

   Guidelines on Payment
    Successful candidates wishing to make payment of the charges are advised to take note of the following payment options:
   Option 1

  1. Visit www.remita.net
  2. Click on ‘Pay A Federal Government Agency’ under the ‘What do You want to do Today?’ section.
  3. Fill the form that appears in the window that opens as follows;
  4. In the ‘Name of MDA *’ field, Type FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, DUTSIN-MA and select same from the options that appears in the dropdown.
  5. From the ‘Name Of Service/Purpose *’ field, select the fee item you wish to make payment for.
  6. Complete the rest of the form that appears as appropriate and click the ‘Proceed To Payment’ button to continue your transaction or
  7. Click the reset button to fill the form afresh
  8. Click on ‘Print Invoice’ to print the invoice containing your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) which you will use in making payment.
  9. Make your payment using any of the payment methods under the ‘How do you want to Pay?’ section.
  10. Proceed to the bursary unit of the University with a confirmation slip from the Remita platform for final processing of your payment.

   Option 2

  1. Visit the designated location within the University premises and collect an invoice containing your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) which you will use in making payment.
  2. Visit www.remita.net
  3. Click on ‘Pay an Electronic invoice’.
  4. Input the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) provided on the invoice you received and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
  5. Make your payment using any of the payment methods under the ‘How do you want to Pay?’ section.
  6. Proceed to the bursary unit of the University with a confirmation slip from the Remita platform for final processing of your payment.

   Note: Students are advised to visit the help desk to get details on the payment procedure as well as help for other registration issues.
   Registration Guidelines/Procedure for Newly Admitted Candidates

  1. Check the University website www.fudutsinma.edu.ng to confirm that your name is on the admission list and Department/Programme of Study you are admitted to study in the University.
  2. If your name is on the admission list, download the Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01) from http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission.
  3. Log onto the portal at http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission to generate a transaction id for payment of Acceptance fees.
  4. Use any of the payment options listed above to pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira only (N5,000) as Acceptance Fee.
  5. After Payment of Acceptance Fee, go to the University portal http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission to printout your Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02).
  6. Sign a copy of the Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission and take along with you all your original certificates and two copies of passport photograph to
    the Academic Office when reporting for registration. (You are advised to clear with the Academic Office before proceeding to the Bank to pay school charges).
  7. Proceed to the screening center with all required documents as listed above for screening and verification of results.
  8. On successful Screening from the Academic Office, login into the portal at http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission and generate a transaction ID for payment of mandatory school charges.
  9. Proceed to pay using any of the payment options available. (You will be required to present the transaction ID generated before payment)
  10. Proceed to ICT Directorate for a Passport Photograph that will be uploaded to the University Portal.
  11. After paying the mandatory school charges, login into the portal at http://sogaps.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admission to complete your semester course Registration.
  12. Note: You are to register five (5) courses out of the six (6) courses listed.
  13. After semester course registration, proceed to your department for documentation.
  14. Return back to the portal after 24hr to check if your registration has been approved, if not, proceed to your department.
  15. After registering, print the following forms:
  16. Student Data Form (Form FUD/03)
  17. Go to the University Clinic with the Medical Report Form (Form FUD/05) for medical checkup and doctor’s report.
